Ushehwedu Kufakurinani trained as an African economic historian at the University of Zimbabwe and is an eclectic researcher with a range of interdisciplinary research interests. He is a poet who enjoys writing and performing Shona poetry. His recent 2025 anthology is “Hanzi Huchi Hwenduri: Kubva mukati kati” (Poetry Sweet as Honey: Down to the core). He has also contributed to anthologies such as Shoko Harivhikwe (Words cannot be shut off).
